Our Work in Uganda

Re-Imagine Education Scholarship Program
At World for Life, we believe every child carries God-given potential waiting to shine. Our Re-Imagine Scholarship Program exists to open doors of opportunity for children and youth born into difficult circumstances where access to education is limited.
We refuse to let potential go unnoticed. Through this program, we are giving children a chance to reimagine their futures through education scholarships, discovering their talents, nurturing purpose, faith, and leadership in the next generation.
Together, we are raising young men and women who will transform their communities and glorify God through their lives.
We aim to establish our own Learning Academy that goes beyond academics by focusing on spiritual discipleship, talent development, character building, and leadership training rooted in faith and purpose.
This vision seeks to nurture the whole child, mind, body, and spirit, equipping them not only with knowledge but with the values and skills needed to impact their communities and live out their God-given purpose

A Place To Call A Home
God designed every human being to live and thrive within a family — not in isolation or institutions. Family relationships hold a sacred place in His plan.
The Bible reminds us that the Church itself is the family of God, built on love, care, and belonging.
At World for Life, we believe every child deserves to grow up in a loving family wherever they are. Yet for many abused, abandoned, or orphaned children, this isn’t always possible.
That’s why we created the Transitional Foster Home Program, a safe, nurturing family environment that restores dignity, provides love and care, and helps children begin their journey toward healing and belonging.
Over the years, this program has given children more than just shelter, it has given them family. Within those walls, they have found siblings to laugh with, caregivers who love them, and a safe place where they are not treated as cases, but as children who matter.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand this vision by creating family-style units for children transitioning out of the foster home.
Each unit will host about six children under the care of a dedicated guardian who will provide a stable, loving, family-like environment.
Alongside this, our family reintegration support will help children reconnect with relatives or find permanent families where possible, because every child deserves to belong, to be loved, and to call somewhere home.

Family Livelihood
At World For Life, we believe that strong families are the foundation of thriving communities.
The Family Livelihood Program focuses on empowering single mothers and widows with the skills, resources, and spiritual support they need to lead their households with dignity and confidence.
Through training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and small-scale business development, we help them build sustainable sources of income that restore stability and hope. Beyond economic empowerment, the program provides mentorship, discipleship, and emotional encouragement, helping each woman rediscover her God-given potential and purpose.
By uplifting single mothers and widows, we are rebuilding families, restoring hope, and raising a generation that reflects the love and faithfulness of God.

Bringing Hope Through Water
In many rural communities, clean water is more than a basic need, it is the foundation for health, education, and opportunity.
“Suubi” means Hope in Luganda, and through the Suubi Water Project, World For Life is bringing that hope to underserved families across Uganda.
Before the project began, many children, especially girls—spent hours each day walking long distances to fetch water for their families.
The water they collected was often contaminated, leading to frequent illness, poor health, and missed days of school. As a result, many children dropped out of school entirely, trapped in a cycle of poverty and lost potential.
Today, through the Suubi Water Project, families and entire communities now have access to clean and safe water close to their homes. This change has restored health, reduced waterborne diseases, and given children the opportunity to return to school and pursue their dreams.
Together, we are turning dry grounds into places of life, joy, and restoration—because where water flows, hope grows.
“I will open rivers on the barren heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.”
Isaiah 41:18

Talent Development Program
we believe that every child carries a God-given gift within them. Yet, for many children — especially girls in underserved communities, those gifts are often silenced due to a lack of opportunity, support, or exposure.
To change that narrative, we launched the SHE-CAN Program, a talent development initiative designed to inspire, encourage, train, equip, and support young girls to discover and develop their talents in sports and music.
At World for Life, we believe she can — and she will.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13
